HERB DUMPLINGS 
3 tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. caraway seeds

Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Stir in milk. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot meat or vegetables. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer. Makes 8 to 10 dumplings.
