VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
11 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
6 eggs
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1 (7 oz.) flaked coconut
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)

Cream butter and sugar, adding one egg at a time. Add vanilla wafers alternately with milk, coconut and nuts.

Bake in greased tube pan or rectangle pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.

Optional: May use German Chocolate Icing for cake.
