CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lb. of pork ribs
1/3 c. of barley
1/2 head of cabbage
1 (10 oz.) pkg. of frozen lima beans
1 can stewed tomatoes
3 c. diced potatoes
2 c. carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 tbsp. salt

Fill stock pot with water. Add salt, pork ribs and barley and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Add carrots and cabbage and cook for 20 minutes. Add potatoes and lima beans and stewed tomatoes and cook until beans and potatoes are tender.
