IMPOSSIBLE FRENCH APPLE PIE 
3 quart sliced tart apples
2 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. bisquick baking mix
4 whole eggs
1/4 c. butter, softened

STREUSEL:

2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
6 tbsp. firm butter

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease pie plate. Mix apples and spices, turn into plate. Beat remaining ingredients except Streusel until smooth, 15 seconds in the blender or high or 1 minute on hand beater. Pour over the apple mixture. Sprinkle with Streusel. Bake until knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
