KRINGLA 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Chill dough in refrigerator at least 2 hours, better if overnight. Do not put in more flour, just enough to roll out in pencil like strips. Form into figure 8 or a wreath. Bake on cookie sheet about 8 minutes until light brown.
