2 c. heavy cream 1 packet unflavored gelatin (Knox) 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. sour cream Pour cream into saucepan and sprinkle with gelatin. Let stand 5 minutes. Add sugar and slowly heat (do not let it boil) until sugar and gelatin are dissolved, stirring occasionally. Cool. Add vanilla and sour cream. Stir until blended. Pour into mold and chill (Tupperware mold works very well). Serve with sauce - strawberry or raspberry, etc. It's very rich. Serves approximately 8 to 10. |
