PORK CHOP BAKE 
6 pork chops, 1" thick
4 med. potatoes, uncooked, peeled & thinly sliced
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 c. water
2 carrots, peeled & thick sliced (crosswise)
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, brown chops; drain on absorbent paper. In buttered 2 quart oblong baking dish, arrange potatoes, mushrooms, carrots and the chops.

In small bowl, combine water and Lipton onion soup mix, pour over meat. Cover with foil and bake 1 1/4 hours or until potatoes are tender. Makes 6 servings.
