CHOPS BAKED IN SOUP 
6 pork chops
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
1 1/4 c. milk

Season chops with salt and pepper. Melt butter in skillet; add onions and chops; brown lightly on both sides. Put sliced potatoes in buttered 2 quart baking dish. Arrange chops over potatoes. Add soup and milk to onions in skillet. Blend until smooth. Pour over chops. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Uncover; continue baking for 30 to 40 minutes until potatoes are done. Makes 6 servings.
