CHICKEN ALFREDO FLORENTINE | |
My family LOVES this recipe! 6 chicken breasts (about 2 lb.) 4 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. garlic powder 1 lb. fresh spinach 2 cans Italian tomatoes 1 pkg. fresh mushrooms 2 pints heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese 1 pkg. pasta (your choice) Dice chicken breasts and put in skillet with melted butter. Add garlic powder and brown. Remove chicken and put de-stemmed spinach in the pan. Once the spinach is cooked down add 2 cans of drained Italian tomatoes. Add sliced mushrooms, cooked chicken, Parmesan cheese, and heavy whipping cream. Cook down for 2 to 3 hours, stirring as needed. Serve over pasta of your choice. Submitted by: Jenna Stowers |
