HAM STRATA 
6 slices of bread
2 c. cooked diced ham
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. green pepper
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated cheese
1 c. buttered bread cubes
Salt & pepper to taste

Combine onion, celery, green pepper, ham, and mayonnaise. Break bread into bite-size pieces. Alternate layer of ham mixture and pieces of bread in a greased casserole dish. Combine 2 eggs beaten well with 1 cup milk. Pour over casserole. Refrigerate overnight. Before baking spread cream mushroom soup and buttered bread cubes over the mixture and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and sprinkle top with 1 cup grated cheese. Heat until cheese is melted.

Note: Chicken or turkey may be substituted for the ham.
