1 lb. hamburg (90% fat free) 45 oz. can tomato juice, V-8, or Clamatoe juice 1 sm. head cabbage, chopped 1 c. sliced carrots 3 tsp. onions, chopped 1 lg. can tomatoes, diced 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained 1 (8 oz.) can minced clams 2 c. wax or green string beans Salt and pepper to taste You may add other spices: garlic, oregano, basil, Italian seasoning. Fry hamburg. Drain off all fat. Put all ingredients in kettle. Simmer for 2 hours. This freezes well. |
