CHRISTMAS SAUSAGE CAKE 
1/2 lb. sausage
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream sausage with sugar. Add eggs. Pour 1 cup warm water over raisins. Stir together flour, salt and spices. Drain water from raisins and add soda to the water. Stir well. Add flour mixture into the water. Add raisins and nuts. Bake in loaf pan at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Increase heat to 350 degrees for 30 additional minutes.
