APPLE SAUCE 
6 McIntosh apples
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. water or apple juice
Lemon juice (optional)

Core apples and cut into chunks. Add apple juice or water and raisins. Bring to a boil, then simmer until done. To inhence flavor add small amount of lemon juice to cooked apples. Makes 3 to 4 cups.
