STUFFED CABBAGE CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. ground chuck, raw 1/2 lb. River Rice, raw 1 stick butter 1 onion, chopped 1 head raw cabbage, chopped 1 can tomato sauce 1 can tomato soup 1 jar sauerkraut Microwave onion and butter for 2 minutes on high. Add to beef and rice and mix well. Place 1/2 head of chopped cabbage in bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish. Pour 1/2 of sauce over cabbage. Press down meat and rice mixture. Spread rest of cabbage. Spread sauerkraut over cabbage (optional). Pour rest of sauce over top. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Cut into squares. Delicious. |
