DARK CHOCOLATE PIE 
A. In double boiler or very thick pan:

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
Dash salt

B. Meanwhile be heating 2 cups milk to warm, not boiling.

C. Take 4 egg yolks and mix 1/2 cup water.

D. Add B and C to A and mix well.

E. Add milk. Add 5 to 6 blocks unsweetened chocolate.

F. Cook on low heat until it thickens, stirring constantly. Let get very thick.

G. When it bubbles, take off heat and add:

1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter

H. Pour into 2 baked pie shells.

I. Beat 4 egg whites adding 4 teaspoons sugar while beating until firm.

J. Brown meringue and hide from the children! Serves 12.
