GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
4 c. green tomatoes (10 med.)
1 2 sweet green peppers
4 c. cabbage
4 c. onions
6 sweet red peppers

Grind all together. Sprinkle 1/2 cup salt on ground mixture. Let stand overnight. Rinse and drain in morning.

Bring to boil:

2 tbsp. mustard seed
4 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
2 c. water

Mix into ground relish mixture and boil 3 minutes; seal.

Makes about 9 pints.
