MEATBALLS: 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1/3 c. minced onion 1/4 c. milk 1 egg 1 tbsp. parsley 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce SAUCE: 1/4 c. butter 1 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. dry mustard 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. catsup 1 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. vinegar 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine meatball ingredients. Roll into small balls and bake at 350 degrees until brown. For the sauce, melt butter, add onions and cook until tender. Add rest of ingredients. Add browned meatballs and cook 30 minutes. Great on a hoagie bun with Mozzarella cheese. |
