PRIME RIB ROAST 
4 lb. (or over) rib roast
Salt & pepper
Garlic salt (optional)

Let roast stand until room temperature. Bake at 375 degrees in roaster pan, 1 1/4 hours, uncovered, fat side up (do this in the morning for an evening meal). Turn off oven and do not open oven door all day.

45 minutes before serving, add salt, pepper and garlic salt if desired and turn oven to 300 degrees. Heat until serving temperature. Plan 1/2 pound per person all slices will be same shade of pink.
