SMALL SERVING FOR 1 OR 2:
1 slice green pepper, chopped
1 slice onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. shortening
1/2 c. ground beef
1 c. tomatoes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. noodles
2 tsp. grated cheese

LARGE:

1 sm. green pepper
2 sm. onions
2 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
3 1/2 c. tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
8 oz. noodles
1/4 c. grated cheese

1. Saute pepper and onion in shortening in a frying pan. Add meat and fry until brown.

2. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and uncooked noodles.

3. Cover the pan and cook until noodles are tender. Pour into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake until cheese melts, 350 degrees.
