I made this with a couple changes. i used 1 1/2 LBs ground beef, I like to use the peppers and onion seasoning mix in the freezer section. I seasoned my hamburger and then cooked the onions and peppers with the hamburger then I used potatoes o'brien from freezer section in 1 layer, then the hamburger mix. and green beans. Then I placed another layer of Potatoes O'brien on top with lots of shredded fiesta cheese and baked for about 40 minutes. Turned out really tastey.

Very tasty but had to put back in oven for another 30 minutes because the potatoes were not done.

I was in such a hurry to make this recipe I failed to see I didn't have a can of green beans so I used frozen corn and replaced the cream of celery with cream of mushroom. This recipe is one I will be making often!! I seen where other reviews said their potatoes didn't get done so I was careful to slice mine really thin.

This is definitely a keeper. Just made it for the first time and used mixed veggies and it is yummy!! Nice change from Shepherd's pie or spaghetti, for hamburger. Thanks.

Could you sub country gravy instead of the soup?

Use a mandolin to slice potatoes - slices thin & all slices even.
