SWISS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Combine over low heat:

6 oz. chocolate chips
1/4 c. water

Sift together:

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt

Blend in another bowl:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat in 3 eggs, one at a time. Blend in chocolate mixture. Stir alternately with flour mixture and 1 cup buttermilk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.

EASY ICING:

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. sugar

Heat slowly. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add a scant cup of chocolate chips. Stir until melted and spread on cake.
