SALTED PEANUT CHEWS 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. butter
1 egg
3 c. miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. peanut butter chips
2 c. crisp rice cereal
2 c. salted peanuts

Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup butter and egg until crumbly. Pat in 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees 12 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows over top, return to oven 1-2 minutes until marshmallows are puffy.

In pan heat 1/4 cup butter, syrup, vanilla and chips. Stir until chips are melted. Remove from stove. Stir in cereal and nuts. Spoon over marshmallows. Chill. Store covered. Freezes well.
