STEAMED CORN & OKRA 
1 lb. fresh okra
2 lbs. frozen corn
2 tbsp. oil (fat bacon is best)
Salt & pepper

Cook okra in small amount water until done but firm. Remove from water. Bring water to a boil, add corn, salt and pepper. Add bacon fat, place okra on top of corn, cover and steam until water evaporates. Stir gently without breaking open okra.
