SAUTEED CORN AND OKRA 
1/2 c. diced bacon
2 c. okra
2 c. cut fresh corn (about 4 ears)
Salt
Pepper

Cook the 1/2 cup diced bacon until crisp; remove bacon (reserve). To the bacon drippings add the 2 cups okra and cook, stirring often, for about 10 minutes. Add the 2 cups corn and continue cooking for about 5 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper and add the crumbled bacon bits.
