1 1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. shortening (1/2 butter)
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda mixed in sour cream
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees.
