SAUSAGE SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 tbsp. oil
1 clove chopped garlic
2 lb. Italian sausage
1 (28 oz.) Hunt's whole tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) Hunt's tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) Hunt's tomato paste
1 whole onion
1/2 green bell pepper
4 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
4 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. fresh parsley
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. fennel seed
Salt to taste

Saute garlic in oil. Add sausage (casings removed). Brown, drain fat, set aside.

Add tomato sauce and paste. Add sausage to this. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer 15 minutes. Add cheese a little at a time until dissolved. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Remove green pepper and onion. Salt to taste. Serve over pasta with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
