SCOTCH SHORTBREAD | |
4 c. flour 1 lb. butter 1 c. sugar Leave butter out overnight. Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Add flour gradually and knead by hand. Line kitchen counter with waxed paper and pat out dough until its 1/4 inch thick. Cut into squares and place on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam. Prick each cookie with a fork and bake at 325 degrees. Do not allow to burn, about 15 or 20 minutes. |
