SEAFOAM FROSTING 
2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract

In top of double boiler, combine 2 egg whites, 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar and 3 tablespoons water. Cook over simmering water 8 minutes, beating constantly with electric mixer or rotary beater. Remove from heat, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and continue beating until spreading consistency is reached.
