PORK CHOP CASSEROLE | |
10 to 12 pork chops, deboned, break fast chops sliced thin, browned 4 lg. potatoes, sliced very thin 1 lg. onion, sliced very thin Approximately 10 5o 15 mushrooms, sliced thin 1 lg. bell pepper, sliced thin 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 8 oz. sour cream Layer browned pork chops in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Layer potato slices on top of pork chops. Salt and pepper potato to taste. Saute onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper in 1 tablespoon butter until onion is clear. Remove from heat and add soup and sour cream; stir. Pour this sauce over potatoes and pork chops in pan. Cover with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 6 generously. |
