CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pie shell, cooked

Cook in double boiler over low heat. Combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and milk until it begins to thicken. Add egg yolks. Cook until thick. Add butter and flavoring. Pour in baked pie shell. For topping: Beat egg whites for topping.
