CRUSTY POUND CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 1/4 c. plain flour
1 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. condensed milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add eggs 1 at a time. Add flour. Add milk, starting and ending with flour. Add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Mix well. Grease and flour tube pan. Pour in mixture.

Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Makes a very delicious crusty cake. Take out of pan as soon as done. Preheat oven and don't look at it until almost done.
