CHOCOLATE SILK PIE 
1 stick softened butter
2 sqs. melted unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each addition. Add melted chocolate and vanilla, beating well. Pour into baked pie shell and chill. May be topped with whipped cream and shavings of bitter chocolate.
