FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 square unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Baked 8" pastry shell or graham cracker crust

Cream butter and sugar; blend in chocolate. Add vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating 4 to 5 minutes after each addition.

Pour into pie shell. Chill thoroughly. If desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with shaved chocolate or walnuts. Serves 6.
