PINEAPPLE NUT DESSERT 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt

Mix well and pour into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup brown sugar over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Milnot
1/2 c. butter

Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes. Stir all the time. Add 1/2 cup nuts and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool a little and pour over cake. Put on whipped cream if desired.
