BEEF AND SPINACH LASAGNA
CASSEROLE
 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. water
1/2 c. dry red wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. each of rosemary, basil, oregano, and pepper

OTHER INGREDIENTS:

6 to 8 oz. bow tie noodles, cooked
10 oz. can spinach, drained
2 c. sour cream
6 c. Monterey Jack cheese

Brown ground beef and drain. Add all other sauce ingredients and cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes; let cool. In large (deep) casserole dish, put down a layer of noodles. Then a layer of sauce, followed by a layer of sour cream. Next, add a layer of spinach and finally a layer of cheese. Do this complete layering at least 3 times (depending on size of dish). Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
