HAMBURGER OR SPINACH CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
8 oz. medium noodles
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) cream cheese, soft
1 c. sour cream
6 tbsp. milk
1 sm. onion
1 sm. can spinach
8 oz. Cheddar cheese

Cook noodles in large amount of salted boiling water until tender. Drain. Brown hamburger, drain. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt and pepper. Add cooked noodles in hamburger, set aside. Stir together cream cheese, sour cream, milk and onion. In 2 quart casserole pan, layer 1/2 of beef and noodle mixture, 1/2 of cream cheese mixture and all spinach, then all remaining noodles and mixture with hamburger. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover, add shredded Cheddar cheese until melted, about 10 minutes. Serves about 12 to 14. Freezes well.
