EXTRA GOOD LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. olive oil
3 1/2 c. tomatoes (#2 1/2 can)
1 can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1 1/2 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. MSG
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 can mushrooms
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
1 lb. cottage cheese, ricotta
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb. Parmesan

Saute ground beef in oil. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings, and mushrooms. Mix well. Simmer for 2 hours until sauce thickened. Cook noodles, drain and rinse in cold water. In buttered baking dish, make 2 layers of noodles, meat sauce, ricotta, slices of Mozzarella and Parmesan. In this order using about half of the mixture for each layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Freeze any leftovers.
