| CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CAKE | |

1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped nuts 6 oz. chocolate chips Cream butter, sugars, vanilla and egg. Use a spoon - not a mixer! Then add dry ingredients, then nuts and chocolate chips. Spread on an 8 or 9-inch round greased pizza pan. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 10 minutes. | |

Made this for the first time today, twice. The first one spread and cooked uneven. The second time it was perfect! I'd recommend softening the butter and using parchment paper if you plan on transferring it to another plate. I baked it at about 18 minutes and it looks and tastes perfect!

If you like the fancy cookie from the mall...you will be thrilled with this recipe. I added some Crisco white frosting. WOW! I made sure this recipe goes into my favorites! Very easy to make.I'd you are looking for a bigger size definetly double the recipe.
