“MEXI-DIP (TORTILLA CHIP DIP)” IS IN:

MEXI-DIP (TORTILLA CHIP DIP) 
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely choppped green pepper
2 (16 oz. ea.) cans mashed refried beans
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (1.25 oz. ea.) pkgs. taco seasoning mix
finely shredded lettuce
shredded cheddar cheese
ripe black olives, sliced and pitted

Sour Cream Topping:

2 cups dairy sour cream
4 tbsp. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Stir together browned beef, mustard, chili powder, onion, green pepper, mashed beans, tomato sauce and seasoning mix. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Spread in ungreased large platter or pie plate or (like I use) a pizza pan. Spread sour cream topping mixture over beef mixture. spread salsa over the sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with shredded lettuce and cheese and olives.
