TORTILLA CHIP SALAD 
1 head lettuce
4 tomatoes
1 small onion or green onions
1/2 green pepper
10 oz. cheddar cheese
8 oz. French dressing
1 can kidney beans
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. tortilla chips

Brown ground beef (drain grease). Add drained kidney beans and French dressing. Heat.

In large salad bowl, break up head of lettuce, slice or dice tomatoes, dice onion, dice green pepper, shred or cube cheddar cheese. Put meat mixture on top of salad mixture, top with crushed tortilla chips (or serve with chips), and serve.
