GROUND BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 qt. stewed tomatoes with pepper and onions
5 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
5 c. water
3 tsp. sugar
10 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 1/2 env. dry onion soup mix

Brown beef and drain well. Combine remaining ingredients with beef into large soup pot. Simmer for about 1 to 2 hours. I find the more it simmers, the better the flavor. You may need to add another 8 oz. can of tomato sauce and 1 cup of water depending on how long its allowed to simmer. Serves approximately 8 to 10.
