MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme

In mixer cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in cocoa, eggs, and vanilla. Blend thoroughly. Add flour, then coconut and nuts. Pour into greased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch or 15 x 10 x 2 inches. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately spread marshmallow creme over surface. (Must pat into place.) Cool.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. milk

Mix together and spread on cake.
