BARLEY CASSEROLE | |
1/3 c. barley, soak in bowl of water for 3 hours 1 lb. ground beef, browned Salt and pepper 1 med. onion, cut up 1 c. sliced carrots 2 tbsp. molasses 2 tbsp. soy sauce In a 2-quart casserole, mix drained barley, browned beef and onion, 1 cup carrots and molasses, mix well. Add enough water to cover. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour covered. Before serving, add 2 tablespoons soy sauce. Mix. You may have to add more water during baking. |
