7 qts. popped popcorn Boil 5 minutes: 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup butter 1 cup peanuts 1/2 cup light Karo corn syrup 1 tsp. salt Add: 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Pour over the popcorn and mix thoroughly. Spread evenly in 2 buttered pans and bake in the oven for 1 hour at 250°F. Stir occasionally during baking time. |
