CREAM CHEESE AND STRAWBERRY JAM PASTRIES | |
1/2 lb. butter 1/2 lb. cream cheese 2 c. sifted flour 1 jar strawberry preserves Mix butter and cream cheese thoroughly; then add flour. Divide into 2 balls and refrigerate 1 hour. Roll out dough on floured board. Cut out circles with a cookie cutter or cup. Put teaspoon of jam in center, fold over and press edges together with a fork. Brush with beaten egg. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
