GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
10-12 potatoes
Onions, sliced
Salt
Oil
Celery
Dark vinegar
Sugar

Boil potatoes. Slice warm. Layer potatoes and onion and add salt and pepper and oil after each layer. Keep layering until finished. Then chop about a cup of celery and about 3 tablespoons parsley and put in with potatoes and onions.

Pour dark vinegar over top (use as much as you like to your taste - the more you add the more tart the salad will be). Then add 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar and stir to taste. You may need more salt and pepper, depending on your taste buds. Serves 10.
