BARBECUED FRANKFURTERS 
1 lg. onion, peeled & chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
3 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. water
1 green pepper, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 c. catsup
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
12 frankfurters

In skillet, saute the onion, green pepper, celery and butter. Add the combined sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, catsup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and water. Simmer. Place the frankfurters in a shallow baking dish. Pour the sauce over the frankfurters. Bake in moderate oven until hot and bubbly.
