WESTERN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 (16 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. instant minced onion
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 pkg. refrigerator biscuits (10 biscuits)
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. yellow cornmeal

Brown beef (remove fat). Stir in corn, kidney beans, soup, cheese, milk, onion and chili powder. Bring to boil. Place in 2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees 10 minutes. Dip the refrigerator biscuits in melted butter then in cornmeal. Place around edge of boiling hot casserole mixture. Bake 20 minutes longer or until biscuits are golden brown.
