WESTERN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables
1 (10 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
4 oz. sharp American cheese, shredded
1/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. instant onion
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 pkg. biscuits (10)
2 tbsp. butter

Brown beef in skillet. Stir in corn, mixed vegetables, soup, cheese, milk, onion, and chili powder. Bring to boil. Turn boiling mixture into 2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Dip the refrigerated biscuits in melted butter, then in cornmeal. Place around edge of boiling hot casserole mixture. Bake 20 minutes longer or until biscuits are golden.
