FLAN SHELLS | |
1 cake mix (of your choice) prepared according to pkg. directions Pour 1/2 of prepared cake mix into prepared flan pan (flan pans available at grocery stores or restaurant supply stores). Bake according to directions on box. Test with toothpick after 30 minutes. When done, remove from oven. Cool slightly, turn out onto cake plate. Fill with any of the following: Prepared instant pudding Fresh fruit (in season) Pie fillings Cover with whipped topping as desired. Additional toppings such as chocolate shot, colored sugars, chopped nuts, crushed peppermint candies can also be used. |
